Uma facada no coração

Esta semana, um acontecimento me atravessou com uma lâmina afiada e é disso que quero falar. Um amigo da minha filha que aqui vou chamar de W , 15 anos, foi esfaqueado no pescoço para ter sua mochila roubada. Aconteceu domingo, por volta de 21hs, nas areias da praia de Ipanema. Tenho certeza que cada um de vocês conhece uma história parecida ou pior que esta, contada por amigos, parentes, vivida na própria pele. Mesmo assim, vou recontá-la, vou arriscar sair da atmosfera jornalística e sensacionalista na qual estamos imersos e ancorados, para sonhar com um outro lugar possível para esta história. W. recebeu uma facada no pescoço andando para casa de seu pai e teve sua mochila roubada, mas a violência maior começa depois disso.

Ainda com a faca no pescoço, ele buscou ajuda no calçadão mas as bicicletas desviavam, passantes se esquivavam. Depois de algum tempo, conseguiu a ajuda de um casal de estrangeiros . Tentaram parar um carro para levá-lo ao hospital sem sucesso. Finalmente, um táxi o levou para o Hospital Miguel Couto. No caminho, o taxista ligou para a mãe de W., avisando o que tinha acontecido e ela, como primeira reação, não acreditou na história achando que fosse um golpe ou algo do gênero, histórias que tanto ouvimos falar.

W. foi operado para remover a faca e já esta em casa se recuperando. As feridas físicas vão secar, as marcas no pescoço vão desaparecer, mas como nos curamos de histórias cotidianas como essa? Tenho vergonha do mundo que construímos para nossos filhos, o que estamos ensinando ? Parar de olhar para o outro, parar de escutar, de se sensibilizar e cuidar do outro? Vivemos do medo, das precauções, da apatia, da banalização da dor. Não tem terapia, nem antidepressivo que dê conta desta doença da alma.

Talvez, se tentarmos o lugar da vergonha, da indignação, algo possa começar a acontecer. Talvez, se cada um de nós contar com olhos de espanto uma história como esta, consigamos vencer esse marasmo em que se encontra nossa humanidade, para sermos afetados por algo que nos tire da anestesia que vivemos na relação com o outro. Quando, para dar vazão a esta vergonha no peito, conto aos conhecidos o que aconteceu, a maioria das pessoas, para minimizar o fato, me diz que isto pode acontecer em qualquer lugar.

Não tem resposta pior, nos consolamos generalizando e tornando normal a violência que é não ter olhos para o outro. W. vive agora a memória da faca em seu pescoço mas, a história dele é nossa também e, o que acontece depois que a mochila se vai é uma facada no coração: de todos nós.
